Our crowns are so excellent that your teeth will actually feel like kings when wearing them. Dental crowns sit atop a damaged tooth to make it whole again. They are prosthetic pieces that are shaped like your original tooth so they feel like a natural part of your mouth, and visually blend in flawlessly. Traditionally, dentists have used crowns that take multiple appointments to mold and shape, but, because of an advanced technology called CERECⓇ, that doesn’t need to happen anymore. At River Valley Dental, Dr. Bryce Hanson utilizes the CEREC to take an impression and make a crown all in the same appointment. So, how does it work?
It starts with an appointment. You can schedule on at our office in Shelley, Idaho, by calling 208-357-7611. Once you are in here, Dr. Bryce Hanson gets to begin his work to make your teeth new again. It begins with a tooth cleaning, to prepare your damaged tooth. An impression is then taken and the dentist brings it to the CEREC machine.
CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics and fits into CERamic REConstruction agreeably. Dr. Bryce Hanson uses a computerized model system to form and shape the tooth so it will perfectly shape your mouth, then the machine creates a brilliant crown while you are still sitting in the office. It’s a fascinating technology that our dentist is happy to provide.
What are you waiting for? If you have a damaged tooth, Dr. Bryce Hanson can mend it in one appointment. All you need to do is schedule an appointment by calling 208-357-7611.
